As a Working Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of planetarium, space, and astronomy programs. This includes, but is not limited to, presenting, scheduling, staffing, training and monitoring quality and content of experiences for the Saunders Planetarium, the Challenger Learning Center, SkyWatch, and outreach programs; you will also upkeep and maintain the planetarium and challenger facilities; troubleshoot and repair space and astronomy equipment as needed; manage and supervise part-time educator staff and volunteers; initiate new program ideas including guest lectures, partnerships and revenue sources. You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in astronomy, physics, math or other related field; have a three years experience in a supervisory position; strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects. -- For further details visit the website below.
