The applicant will run planetarium shows; assist with the development of and on-site testing of educational materials; supervise visiting groups; assist with the supervision of 1 or 2 post-matric interns; and liase with teachers bringing groups for visits. Required skills are a matric and a formal teaching qualification, teaching experience at senior primary or FET level in science or maths, interest and knowledge of astronomy, basic Zulu and Nothern Sotho (verbal), reasonable English writing skills.
