As a member of the Science Education team, the Planetarium Programmes Officer will be responsible for the development and delivery of planetarium shows, the coordination of planetarium programming and resources, and the maintenance of planetarium technology and content. They will also be responsible for supporting the wider activity of the Museum. Among the key responsibilities are the daily presentation of planetarium shows to a wide range of audiences, from under fives to adults; supporting the development of content for the planetarium, including the production of shows and content for a wide range of events, activities and audiences including the public, specialist audiences and corporate clients; working closely with colleagues in other departments, including Visitor Services, Technical Operations, Learning and Interpretation and Digital Projects; coordinating resources for the delivery of planetarium programmes, working on freelance recruitment, rostering, training and performance monitoring and feedback; production of written content for web and print to support the promotion of planetarium programmes. -- For more details visit the website below.
