Goto Helios ProjectorThe model "Helios" is a single ball star projector for large planetaria. It is provided in two versions: The standard one is applicable in domes between 18 and 30 meters, while "Super-Helios" can be extended to 50 m. The number of projected stars are 25,000 (Helios) and 38,000 stars (Super-Helios). Besides the basic motions as visible from Earth, the sight can be altered to other planets. The functional system is reconfigurable, and operations will be allowed different from their astronomical usage. These so-called "modes" would switch to a free access of the rotational axes. Enabling this, a fictive flight towards a specified point is possible. In the same way, circular, elliptical and parabolic flights can be set up. The planetary projectors are redefinable, too, such that proper motions of stars can be shown. This projector is installed in Miyazaki and Yokohama among other places.
