A more voluminous star ball is the "Space Voyager" built in the 1990ies. It is constructed for the medium and larger domes not smaller than 12 meters. According to the specifications, unidirectional and tilted halls are beneficial. The number of projected stars exceeds 10,000 and they are correct in size, colour and brightness. The machine calculates the positions of planets with high accuracy up to 100,000 years in the future and past. It did not find an extensive distribution, for only four instruments of this model were built. For example, it is installed in the Hummel Planetarium in Richmond, Kentucky, and in Charlotte, North Carolina.
